    New chapter of life

Well well well...now I have time to write my blog...I am graduating this Saturday with my MS and I am really thrilled to see the day. I actually thought that I would never see that day for a decade. But now I am seeing that day in 5 days.

On Sunday the 28th, I am moving back to Toronto for good. I have gotten a new apartment right inside the downtown of Toronto and I am already excited about new chapter of my life. My apartment is actualy on 25th floor and it's right by Church Street, which is similar to: Castro Street in San Fransico, Dupont Circle in Washington, DC, and Davis Street in Vancouver. I think you understand the message between the lines. No need to say more. :)

Since I am going to live in downtown, I am going to give my car away to my brother whom is also living in Toronto. I bought a new bike that would be my mode of transportation around the downtown. The job hunt begins in few weeks after I settle in. In matter of fact, I had few good leads for job but, they aren't what I thought they were. I am really aiming to get a job where I could use my degree. I didn't go to graduate school for nothing, so I am going to stick with my field.....hopefully!

When I settle in my new apartment, I would post pictures of my apartment and the surroundings for you to get the bigger picture where I am.

On other note, Ivy's beloved brother, Mojo has joined our happy family. Thanks to Fan, he brought Mojo from Washington, DC to Ivy. Before Mojo's arrival, Ivy was being an excellent cat to me but, she does appear to be lonely time to time and it breaks my heart. I do not want Ivy to be alone for the most of the day when I am gone to work (given that I would get a job eventually). So, now Ivy has her brother living with her, I am very confident that they will keep each other company and Ivy wont be lonely. Judging on Mojo's behavior, he appears to be happy here as well. Here's the picture of him.... isn't he a darling?! He had his grooming done where they shaved his hair. His skin actually felt like a cattle's skin. Smile....only for a short time.

He is overweighted but, I have put him on a diet...he has to eat much less than he usually eat, and so far, he does appear to shed few pounds so far.

    Until then!

    Car repairs

My car is still sick. It has oil leaking where I suspected that it was valve cover gasket leaking. But just until today, I worked on oil pan gasket replacement and found out that it was actually NOT oil pan gasket leaking. It's a head gasket where there are two piece of engines being attached to each other. The head gasket is in the between of those two pieces of engine.

I even bought new toy; air compressor and air tools. I love them to death and it makes my job much faster and easier.....and less messy. :) So, I am going back to Canada for the weekend then come back home. I will resume again in fixing the head gasket. It will take a lots of work and my time. But, I know that I will enjoy the experience in repairing the car.

I have to close the car up and get it ready for travel...again. Then redo the gasket next week. I admit, I was very tempted in just sell the car and buy other car. But...I want to experience the major engine repairs.

    My business

It's official. I have started my own business...a business solution. I will explain about ths business in details much later. But right now, all I can share is that I have started my business.

Setting up the business is actually fun but, sure is very challenging because you need to know the business game and I am relieved that I learned all of those tricks from my graduate school. And to my surprise, two professors are willing to work with me as a consultant so, looks like my business is set.

I was supposed to launch the service last Monday but, there were some clinches that I had to clear before starting. For example, I had to get the merchant account in order to start accepting credit card and for the fund to be deposit directly into my business account. I learned that it is mandatory and I could not have just two thing; my business and my bank account. You would need a merchant account and payment gateway to make your internet business to work. Ugh...the cost were so expensive but, I managed to find the cheaper for the better service.

And also, I discovered that I am required to have SSL certificate (to carry out the secure transcation online) and the price is .....WOW..very high but Im grateful that I found the better price for the certificate via my ISP that my business is registered for.

Once the business is launched, then my blog would probably would shift from personal blogging to buisness blogging such as business tips, business lessons, or even stupid business mistake. So this way people could benefit the tips for thier own business...but of course, I'm not selling my secrets anyhow! :)

    New Look

Just thought I would change the new look. I have been obsessed with General Grievous, the character from Star Wars II and III. I used to be Star Wars freak when I was young and the fad has faded away until the Revenge of the Sith came out, and it has triggered the freakness to emerge. :)

So, I thought I would let it out of my system by being obsessed for a while. He's my favorite character out of all movies (First movie through to the last movie [The Return of the Jedi]). So, enjoy the new look.

To be or not to be?

Ok. Yep, I have been away from writing blogs. Things has been hectic for me on my end. I am starting my new business and I am already in final stage of implementation and meeting with investors and all of that.

But, know what? The coolest thing is that I have seen my old friend from my elementary school. I haven't seen him for almost 13 years. Last week, Ryan took me to see Will Sharpe and it was really good to see him again and we went on memory lanes about so many things that I wouldn't dare to write on the blog. You know which one, Will? Heh.

After knowing that he's around, very nearby, it made me feel better knowing that there is someone in Ontario that I can be with. Bascially Ontario is Jason's home province, my brother's and my new friends. So, it's nice to know that there's someone from my circle. Good to see you again, Will and I look forward to all times in future together.

There's Canadian election coming up on Jan 23rd to vote for new government. I am going to vote for Liberals. PC is way too much of bullshit; just like Republicans. I sure do hope that Liberals do not lose the control of the government.
